Yes, even if you have little or no experience you can start with an intensive course. We adjust the pace to your level.

Our intensive package Rijbewijs Versneld (15 lessons) costs €1,550, including a priority practical test. For more lessons there are Rijbewijs Spoed (25 lessons, €2,250) and Rijbewijs Turbo (35 lessons, €2,950).

Unfortunately, paying in instalments is not possible for intensive packages, because of the short duration of the programme.

The test takes about 55 minutes and is conducted by a CBR examiner. You drive a set route through the city and the surrounding area.

Then you choose a retest package: from Herstart (7 lessons + practical test, €800) to Afmaker (18 lessons + practical test, €1,400). Together we go through the examiner's feedback and decide which package suits you. See all retest packages on the prices page.

Yes, you take the test in our lesson car. That way you drive a familiar car that you have already practised in.

The trial lesson costs €50. In the 50-minute trial lesson you get advice on the number of lessons you need, as well as a full practical lesson.

A trial lesson is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. It helps us choose the right package and teaching method for you.

No, you can start driving lessons without a theory certificate. You only need your theory certificate to take the practical test.

You can start driving lessons from the age of 16.5 (2toDrive accompanied driving scheme). You can get a regular driving licence from the age of 18.

Of course! We always assess your current driving level first and draw up a plan that matches where you are now.

In most cases you can start your first lesson within a week, depending on availability.

You take the theory test independently with the CBR. You can prepare at home or through a theory school. We help you with tips and practice materials.

Your theory certificate is valid for 3 years. Make sure you pass your practical test within that period.

That differs per person. On average, students take 4 to 6 months, depending on the number of lessons per week and the availability of a test date.

Yes! We regularly drive in the test areas, so you are familiar with the surroundings on the day of your test.

You only find out the exact route during the test. The examiner gives directions on the spot. Being familiar with the area increases your chance of passing.

The theory test requires proper study. There are 65 questions and you may make no more than 10 mistakes. With enough practice in a good app you will be well prepared.

Yes, you can, and it is even recommended. The practical experience you gain during driving lessons helps you understand the theory better.

That depends on your country of origin. EU/EEA licences can usually be exchanged directly. For non-EU licences, an exchange is possible for some countries. We can advise you on your specific situation.

You need to pass the CBR theory test (available in English) and then the practical driving test. We guide expats through every step of the process.

Yes, the CBR theory test is available in English. You can take it at any CBR location in the Netherlands.

If you have driving experience, you may need fewer lessons. We assess your level during a trial lesson and create a tailored plan from there.

You don't need a BSN (citizen service number) to start lessons. However, you do need a BSN and a valid residence permit to take the CBR test.
